"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament." CCC 1601

If you are seeking to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage, please contact the pastor (dbq059@dbqarch.org) at least six months prior to the wedding to schedule the wedding and begin the preparation for celebrating this sacrament. Holy Spirit Parish utilizes FACET (Foundations Applied Conversation and Education Tool) compatibility instruments to facilitate discussion with and between the couple. The couple will need to participate in the Parish Preparation Program and Archdiocesan Pre-Cana Program.
